The Team Behind The Dream

Ishokee received her BS in Healthcare Administration and minored in Public Affairs from Texas Southern University. Graduating with honors, Cum Laude. And shortly after,  completed her Executive-MBA from Texas A&M University.

While pursuing her degrees, Ishokee was a single mother and understood the challenges and hardships single mother's face. In return, she has made a dedication and commitment to help single mother's overcome their challenges through the support of community-based programs, supporting their life experiences and providing exposure to view their challenges differently. 

​

The past twelve years Ishokee has worked in Public Service where she refined her skill sets in business management, executive acumen, policy development, and human resources. In addition, she has developed a passion to serve her community and the allocation of resources to its citizens.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, traveling, appreciating art and a foodie at heart.

Andrew  received his BS in Petroleum Engineering and his MBA from Texas A&M University. He also served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Spain for 18 months. He joined Chevron in 1990 and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing, Aviation, Lubricants and Environmental Management Company (EMC). Andrew currently is the Asset Retirement Technical Manager for EMC based in Houston, Texas. Andrew is responsible for Chevron’s global technical management of asset retirement – well p&a, facility decommissioning and site remediation.

 

Andrew believes in giving back to the community. Over the years he has participated in Komen Foundation – Race for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity, Oshkosh Air Show, Houston Foodbank, Wings Over Houston, March of Dimes, Galveston Beach Cleanup, National Conference of Christian and Jews, Boy Scouts of America, Project Row Houses and recently Blodgett Urban Gardens and Mothers on the Rise. Andrew has been a part of Project Row Houses since the beginning and has served on the board since 1999.

 

Andrew is married to Peri (37 years) and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. 

Donna is Co-Owner of LaDon Trucking, LLC from 2005-2024. In addition, she has worked as a care-giver for 30+ years until recently retiring. Her experience includes intricacies of people management, catering, event planning and decorating. 

 

Donna is originally from New Orleans, LA and now resides in the Houston area.  And currently serves as the Director of Events for Mothers On The Rise.

She has a passion for serving her community and single mothers.
